Common Man In Politics Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

In the name of religion and faith
The leaders are playing politics
They push the common man to the
Front and themselves hiding in
Farmhouses, hotels and guest houses

The common man either gets killed
Or arrested and brutally beaten
Many cases are filed against him
And he spends his life in jail

The leaders continue living
Their lavish life without bothering
For him or come out in his support

The family of the common man
Suffers the most and gets ruined

Politics is a passion
The common man knows very well
But can't stop himself from
Jumping into the fire the leaders light
