Companion Poem by Harrison Bishop

Companion

Rating: 5.0

Don't be just another helpless soul,
A cog in a machine,
A useless piece in the puzzle of time,
I'll give you a moment away from your mind.

Be a part of my life,
Rise above your insecure security,
Euphoric attacks of self centred hatred,
Connect with the memories.

Don't just be present,
Transcend your full potential,
You're allowed to grow and develop,
Not lost in your own thoughts.

Be existing for a reason,
Good practice makes permanent,
Try not settle for mediocrity, because;
Companion you are golden.

Good poem encouraging us to move beyond, to live with passion.my biggest fear since my earliest years was to live a mediocre life and so far I have not.love the lines I'll give you a moment away from your mind and the the last two verses. This poem is a wake up call and a good reminder to Carpe Diem thanks Harrison
