How would compare thee to the sun
When thy is the sun
Thou cast a shadow on mine broken heart
And left it green with illness
Thou and I went to the fields of sunflowers
And played until sundown
Thou don't remember that day
Eh?
Then, resting at midnight
For the excitement disturbed our sleep
As the next day, we went to the city
Leaving our sorrows far behind
Until the following morning
Listening to mistrals playing our song
And casting us into a dance
That could last for eternity
Now there is darkness in my soul!
For thou have left me behind
Never to love me once more
For thou is ashes
As thy tears go softly into thou urn
Thy is at the point of death
