In the unchartered territory of blogosphere
I set out one day to keep boredom at bay
to pen my musings, views and thoughts
on a realm of topics -
local and international,
social and irrational jots.
My mind worked overtime night and day
I found it hard to put pencil and paper away.
Listening to Mozart’s “Turkish March”,
my mind and fingers set out on a real march.
Lunchtime came and lunchtime went,
but only on writing my mind was bent.
Hunger ignored, thirst neglected,
Cell phone muted, landline disconnected.
My plants craved for water
and my kitchen cried out louder.
Writing can be so addicting
and I thought only coffee was addicting!
The more I think, the more I write.
The more I write, the more I blog.
The more I blog, the more people complain
Yes, blogging does drive one and all insane.
Soon I discovered that blogging in excess
can be injurious and very dangerous
as it makes you completely forget yourself
and leaves your home in a total mess.
So I cut down on my blogging
as I have cut down on my coffee
And now I am hopefully –
a new person – living totally guilt-free!

Note: Sometime back, I watched a Hollywood movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic” that was hilarious and a great entertainer. Since then I have been thinking about this composition whose title I borrowed from the movie.

I would like to translate this poem
One word and device I am unable to follow! But then blogosphere should be quite inspiring!
