Confrontation Poem by Audrey Heller

Many times, in order to avoid
confrontation, we turn a deaf
ear. We do this for self
preservation, as there are
certain things, we don't want to
hear. Then we have to ask
ourselves, is it better this way?
Or should we give them the
courtesy and listen, to what they
have to say. There are times,
I'm sure we're not aware of what
we've said or done that may
offend. But if it happened, it
wasn't with any intend. We then
have to be more considerate
and understanding of the people
around us. We have to show
ourselves, in a different light.
There really is some good, in
all of us. So let's strive to make
that wrong, a right!
