I don't know what to feel
How to understand
Is this God's plan or a misconception
Wishes in a prayer
The eve of a new year
A commitment
The deepest parts of my soul
Looked under a microscope
Finding the one I'm searching for
Once I was skeptical
I doubted the plan
I backslid and fell again
Came back a changed person
With the greetings of many
Including you
In a state of hurry
I have a reaction
Begin to slide without knowing you
Slide into a passion
Possible obsession
Confused feelings of love

Infatuation can be very intense and consuming, but at the end of the day, it's just a mere glorification of beauty which wears off after awhile. On the other hand love is a spiritual experience that comes with, hope, faith, discipline, balance and wonderful bliss. I like the articulation and penning of your poem.
