Conga Poem by olawale famodun

Conga

I have been to
The Katanga, to
View the spirit of Lualaba.
I would rise
Before the sun
And go down
Before the moon.
I would flow into my folks
And my healing
Would be complete
Before the sun
Completes its own revolution.
He won't make me
Feel confounded
Once I have astounded him
He will flee his field
Leave his hut behind
Depart from his destiny
Desert his wife and family
Flowing with me
When into his destruction
Lualaba would lead me,
Widely and northerly,
To the haven of glory.

Absolutely spell bound poetry with vivid imagery. Poem makes us laugh, cry, prickle, silent. So did this one. Great writing. Skill in performing tasks like poem is found. Poetry is language-most distilled and powerful. Such poems really worth great comments. And, yes. Thank you for your valuable time and review Pari Style Poems.
