Conquering Defeat Poem by Barry Middleton

Conquering Defeat

Rating: 5.0

mountains are hard to climb
challenges hard to meet

but from the mountain top
the air is cool and sweet

and challenges and victories
and conquering defeat

are only opportunities
like every dawn we greet

This is an immensely inspiring product of colossal poetic eclat, Barry.Indeed, man's quest to conquer adamant obstacles along life's weary way remains history's most fertile literary forte...heroically mined by Art's finest aces - look at " Invictus" , for example. Yours is another perfect, nuance-honeyed exemplar of such towering opuses on Hope's invincibility!
