Conspired Happiness Poem by Anne Yun

Conspired Happiness

I knew they knew this secret we conspired
for they saw i was smiling
in the metro, i was the only
so they laughed, chased, forgot the last timidity
for this spree, how could my eyes resist enjoying!
while the mother was still busy typing
little girls were dancing for me
Oh! How could my heart not join, this happiest conspiracy!

Your poem is a clever and deft exploration of the issues of privacy and public display. You rightly keep some things hidden from the world, and reveal other things. You know when you can trust people: when they are carefree and open. It's a way to gain trust.

You are so right in citing appreciation of others, the best way to win trust and expand your circle of friends. Their existence make my world rich! - What a wonderful attitude to guide your behavior in this new millenium.

Yes, indeed sir! Not only trust, but also appreciation, i meet strangers everyday, little girls of innocence, old people with kindness, young men with amiable timidity, their existence make my world rich!
