Consumers Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Consumers

Consumers

Feel being alien
-when see looks at my books!

I too, use cellphone and Internet.
I too, search on Wiki and Google.

But rather, prefer, the paper!

I sure am different
-from kids, the younger.

They are raised celestial
-but are filled with darkness.
-Master is Internet; they, slave!

When looking at them I
-feel seeing sparrows!

Washed, unwashed,
-can be seen year around.

Funny is how they walk;
-instead, hop and jump!

Brainless and gutless
-they nest in the ceilings
-and the bush, wall, trees.
-Youths mimic the celebs
-as soldier must obey an order!

I dislike this bird since
-unlike wise swallows
-powerless, brainless,
-are parents…

I witnessed many of tiny chicks
-fallen out of shelter (featherless,)
-laid on backs or tummies,
-and ignored, abandoned
-with the weak yellow beaks
-and two-balls as dead eyes.

He has his own style of expressing his thoughts on pen and paper. Very nice and meaningful poem. Enjoyed.
