Coronavirus Poem by Ojok Isaac

Coronavirus

Eh! Are you not afraid of us!
You who sit in the crowd and drink
Moving everywhere in the bus
You overlooked us, now twice, think
We're muderers, we'll cut you breath
Make you stop breathing, in peace, rest!

We're coming in silent motion
It's a joke cause we got no legs
You who wander with no caution
Touch us in your hands, be our legs
Your itchy eyes, nose, mouth; scratch it
That we enter your lungs and feast

From China, we're in the world
Chinese products are always fake
That's why you think we're that lil' girl
But now, your hands you don't shake
For hand shaking makes us spread fast
And many will be sick at last

Desert the city, we are here
Stay home, show love to your family
Feeling flu, stay alone, don't come near
To hospital, go early
if you feel fever, cough, shortness
of breath, don't fear, stop laziness

Keep on washing your hands with soap
Though you're sick, be strong, lose no hope
