Listen, listen, all sisters and brothers
Listen, listen, all fathers and mothers,
Don't listen when the priests or pastors as they preach
When false doctrine they do teach.
Any religion that fails to follow precisely what God has said
He is but a counterfeit as the Bible has read,
Not everyone that says to me, Lord, Lord shall enter my Kingdom
When they forget salvation and what the Lord had done.
Remember what the lord Jesus had taught
And remember what others have truly sought,
To love and care for the poor and needy
And always give and help and not to be uncaring or greedy.
If you feel more guilty for missing church than helping a neighbor
And you don't care about others labor,
If you believe that the Bible is more important than Jesus
And unto him your sins you never did confess.
If you ever wonder how close you can get to sin without sinning
And all the time you are plotting and grinning,
And you feel it's okay to hold a grudge with your last puff
When someone has hurt you bad enough.
If you believe real Christians never engage a sinner
Read in the Bible with who Jesus had dinner,
And if you believe God rests in a building and not in a group of people
You best leave that steeple.
If you think Christian maturity is more about how much people know
Than what they did and what they did sow,
This I say to you and I hope that you do truly listen
You are just a counterfeit Christian.
