Countertop Love Poem by Dwayne Gordon

Countertop Love

There had been a time when love meant lot to me
Instead of being sad, I was as happy as I can be
Now that I'm stuck to Mr. loneliness where emotions and frustrations are taking me over
The more I think about love - the less I want to get closer

What is love without a little bit of hell
Is it real? , or is it that you can't tell?
You tell him, 'I love you'; he answered ' I love you too'
But think about it! , (you really do?) ?

Life is not a game for sure
If you really do say nothing more
It floats like a boat on the sea
If you love me.......don't fight it
Let it be.
