Court Case Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Court Case

Court case

Slower than normal
Tardily and gradual

I move…forward…
Tied ankles, legs and mind
To a case, years ago……

Opposition is bandit, pirate
Highly connected, is corrupt

Every word of each page of the file
A needle, poisoned, in my nerve
I feel like the gorilla, in Kenya
Zoo keepers gave her drink
In their hands, paralysed…

My losses
My time, life.

The gains start
When the book is on shelf
On silver screen
I invite the pirate to read, watch.
