Covid: A Mid-Term Audit Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Covid: A Mid-Term Audit

Rating: 5.0

COVID came as came 2020,
Some blamed all and any,
And taking li'le hassle at home
Under a heavily cast dome
They lived— folks less than learned.

Some no one else accused
But their flaws failings-suffused,
Tried to fix in double haste,
And facing things at their best
They moved, getting educated.

Yet others blamed neither self,
Others, nor a fairy elf,
And did all that be done.
When results showed round the turn,
Proved, they were educated.

A great reflection of a current crisis and the conflicting responses that people are making, people live in ignorance or they learn the hard way the severity of this crisis. A great observational work.

The greatest lesson, however, is the knowledge that life is ephemeral. A beautiful poem imbued with wisdom and insight. Another brilliant write.

Covid has taught us so many lessons in life. Great lessons imbued with fear. Fear of life is the greatest factor that will drastically change the lifestyle of so many people.
