Crime Has No Place Here Poem by Lauren Coles

Crime Has No Place Here

Crime has no place here
Crime is inescapable,
On the streets all you hear are police sirens and popping sounds,
Why were guns invented in the first place,
That's a question that I should never know,
How do we keep our kids safe if we keep letting them play violent video games for hours on end and they just copy what they see on television,
I wish I had a vacuum so I could suck crime away for good,
It's going to take all of us doing our part because crime has no place here.
