Croons Of Night (Haiku) Poem by Dr subhendu kar

Croons Of Night (Haiku)

Rating: 4.5

Night croons to slumber in adoration of silence
heart rests upon niche of benevolence of red in redolence.
green craves splatters of rain to sate.

'Night croons to slumber in adoration of silence' as a bird after its soft crooning, falls to sleep and slips into silence in its nest! How many images this single line calls up to mind and what depth of thought it can evoke in the heart. A powerful haiku on the silence of the night! I enjoyed reading your short biography!
