Crystalline Poem by Margaret Alice

Crystalline

Rating: 4.5

Came Ice Prince Crystalline, cool and
collected, my feverish brow relaxed, the
attempt at smothering all emotion could
be stopped, the effort to be rational within
routine killing my soul could be let go,
I could set free the primitive reptile

Of feeling within me, Prince Crystaline
promised to tell me a story, it is not
necessary to smother my passionate
soul, the multiverse is still intact,
the stories will go on, I
listen in peace

Dream a new dream without
fearing fire and brimstone
in the wrath from
above…
