' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' Cuddles(For Helen)

Rating: 2.6

She climbs
upon my knee

& then

wobbles almost topples
...off!

I catch her
& HO! HO! HO! her.

Ask her
what does she '...want

for Christmas
little girl.'

Suitably Santa'd
she plants a foot

on each of my
patellas

stands firm
like a minature

Collusus
of Rhodes

holds on to
my neck

kisses me.

'Me want cuddles! '

A tear trickles
down my cheek.

She laughs
& licks it off.

We cuddle.

Tenderness shared without undue ornamentation. A light-hearted look at love everlasting. Beautiful. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
