Cupid Poem by My song Resound

Cupid

I received some bad news from the courier today
Said my package was broken and that it won't be on it's way
And that's just sad cause I know that someone won't be happy today

Somebody sent me a package just the other day
They said that I should have it back, don't have to pay
And it came all heavy, with a note that said they can't bear the weight

Another package just came in, this one's fairly light and thin
With a note that's asking when would love begin?
Said 'I'm waiting for a better man to win'

Just the other day there was a package wrapped in armor
Very much afraid that maybe love is gonna harm her
And everyone around she did deter

Danger's in the corner where all the fragile boxes are kept
There are thorns, shards, cuts and everywhere is a wreck
This happened when these packages are left unchecked

My storage is filled to the brim with a lot of empty boxes
No matter what I put in it won't settle for any responses
That it would even want to try and blame me for the causes

Some packages take too long to reach, others arrive shortly
Some take weeks, some take years, sometimes even immediately
But not all who wait awaits forlornly

Each time a package goes out, how I wish it won't return
That someone would take better care and have just what they yearn
And stop making my job harder for me in turn
