To Speak Poem by My song Resound

To Speak

I. How do you talk to someone you don't want to talk to
How do you talk to someone who somehow feels like you've got nothing to talk about
How do you talk to someone who just knows how to complain about you
How do you talk to someone who sucks at talking just as much as you

Refrain:
Generational gap, social difference, mental illnesses, and trauma galore
I don't think I can continue this conversation
Irrational thoughts, invading social space, heckle here and there
Gabble, gabble, gabble, gabble

II. When I talk to you I feel like I got better places to be
When I talk to you, we never really are on the same page are we?
When I talk to you, you pick at all my faults, get mad and angry
When I talk to you I feel that you talk so much because you're lonely

III. Who do you think I am, a kid that's gone astray?
What do you suppose if you don't like how I do things my way?
When is this going to end, feels like you've been talking all day?
Why are we even talking, if the words are not conveyed
