Curiousity Poem by Deepak Manchanda of Delhi

Curiousity

Rating: 5.0

Welcome.
To far-off, dark Deep Space
Of whatever kind you have in your mind
Dial One for Curiosity
But you may have to hold
While its millions of miles away
Dial Two for Vision
And you will begin to see the possibilities.
Dial Three for Tenacity
But have the strength to hold on
Dial Four for Planning
To get to the last detail
But most of all
Don't forget to Dial Five
After the Beep
For Imagination
That remains behind to see what Curiosity brings.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is about our - mankind's - fascination about the spacecraft Curiousity that has just landed on Mars and speculation about what it could reveal.

An excellent flight of imagination and in consonance with a marathi proverb, Jithe na pahunche Ravi tithe pohanche Kavi(a poet's imagination takes him to places where even the sun rays can not reach) . Ten marks.
