Cutter Poem by Ima Ryma

Cutter

Sometimes a kid's party can be
A quite emotional event,
Even for a grownup like me.
And that's the way this party went
When I was asked to cut the cake,
A cute Nemo look a like theme.
A cut of mouth end I did make.
There was dead silence, it did seem
I'd caused the watching kids to freeze.
A lot of them began to cry.
I felt like a piece of sleaze.
The party mood had gone bye bye.

The rest of the party I missed.
I went to see my therapist.
