Daddy Poem by Preston Mwiinga

Daddy

I want to understand you,
I want to know you better.
Your real character is like the hide and seek game.
What I know is that you love me.
Your love I feel,
Your sacrifice me me makes me cry.
You starve at times just for me to have a meal.
Your clothes are worn out just because you want to take me to school.
You spare your time for me to feel the importance of your fatherly love to me.
You get angry when I take school for granted.
It is because you want a better life for me.

Daddy, I promise not to take your sacrifice for me for granted.
I will make you proud, I will do my level best to ensure that this is possible.
I love you daddy, you are the best dad in the entire world.
