Daddy's Girl - Poem by Little Opal
As a child my father often confused me
Unpredictable behavior and countless personalities
At times he was a fun and playful 'Cosby dad'
Other times I walked on eggshells,
Careful not to make him mad
But as I grew older I began to see
That he and I have so many similarities
I now am aware that we both have been affected
By the ways of this cold cold world
And now I am proud to say that I am
Daddy's Girl
