Damnation Of My Heart Poem by Ida Kopsch

Damnation Of My Heart

Rating: 5.0

Caught up in the wonder of your charms
Instantly I fell into your arms
Feelings for you so mad, so vast
Did not expect that night to be the last

Memory of your touch kept me hazy
Resulting in your silence driving me crazy
Torn, the picture of you as my last station
Without you, I was doomed to starvation

The damnation of my heart left a hole
See, once there used to be my soul
Aching body, last tear drop shed
My ability to love, forever dead

Ability to love forever is dead is so sad. There is hope that love will be revived soon. An amazing poem is wonderfully drafted...10
