Dancing Butterfly Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Dancing Butterfly

Rating: 5.0

Hovering in the air… a performing artist
suspend as though from an invisible string...
An intuitive graceful freelance dancer
creating a floating ballet on magical wings

Your beautiful attire is delicate and flimsy
You cannot allow a loving touch to restrain
or caress… such passion will surely weaken
momentum and snuff out your vibrant flame

You must be appreciated from a distance
It is the only way to preserve your splendor
Be on your way to mesmerize other admirers
Share your radiance… but never surrender
