Dance The Dance Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Dance The Dance

Rating: 3.0

The rhythm of life
Has an enthralling beat
Echoing to the toes of your feet

Reverberating… even when asleep
A pulse that rouses with each measure
A stirring gift… desiring pleasure

Music is heard in the distance…
A warming melody enters
Creating a song that radiates from center

Thump, thump…thump, thump
The pace quickens… then slows
While emotions bend and flow

The dance is artfully choreographed…
Completed as sand prints fade away
Grasped and carried by rhythmic waves
