Dark - Poem by Gordon Jerome
Deep within this blackness void of light
against the darkness I stand and fight
my spirit rises though scarred and torn
surging upward faithfully to be reborn
my soul reaches beyond this dark abyss
in search of his light I mournfully miss
the light is warmth from heaven above
filled with Gods peace and his pure love
it contains the forgiveness for all your sin
to receive its blessing just allow God in
to starve a soul just remove gods light
it soon fades in the dark of forever night.
Gods light shines bright within each to bask
all you need to do is in his name ask.
