Dark And Light Poem by Linda Hepner

Dark And Light

The dark is nothing without light;
colors nothing without sight;
evil measured by the good
and won't is known just by I would.

Love is absent without hate;
now is unknown without wait,
yesterday, tomorrow, are
dependent on our burning star.

KILLING EVERY DEMON
By GWH

If you kill off every demon
you may make your angels die;
save them with your love and semen,
fruitful when you multiply.

With a wife you needn’t sub-
limate, for you may spill your seed
legitimately, as a hub-
bie should when brave enough to breed.

I added the second quatrain on 2/22/10.
Inspired by lines, attributed to Tennessee Williams, from a movie “Transsiberia, ” directed by Brad Anderson, with Ben Kingsley, Woody Harrelson and Emily Mortimer, which I saw tonight after Zachary got engaged to Rikki.
