Dark Chamber

As the child of ancient background,
Quite and wordy find our tongue,
With many dictators, learned, wise.

One of the best collections, records
Is "Rumi, " known Sufi and poet.

He, somewhere and somehow, in concise,
Talks about the experts, professionals.

His words are meaningful, minimised:
"On a leaf was an ant…leaf fell, died! "

Ant tiny, leaf small, stream very weak,
To the ant it was sea and ocean, a flood.

Bible comes to one's mind, and paintings
Everywhere, on the walls, on ceilings.

But to eyes of an owl, a camel
Nothing much had happened!

Following the news, I watch, also listen,
Around me raindrops make autumn
And some ants complain of "Flood! "

Emancipation, John Lewis,
Malcolm X, Luther King,
John Lennon, Kennedy,
September Eleven
And Boston, Grozny,
Qaeda, Bin Laden, and ISIS,
Saudi murderers, in Turkey
Palestine, Israel...

Come to mind, Plato, Socrates,
With latter holding cup to drink,
Original is shadow to the tied!

Limited, limited

Rumi talks of chamber with secret
Some enter and return, discover:
A "Column, " "Fan, " "A pipe, curved! "

Elephant was hidden in darkness!

Now, news and science are the same,
Everyone claims: "Have discovered! "

Crazy, jokers, jerks…
Limited, limited, limited!

Deaf, blind, and mindless, just obey
Like hunters' greyhounds and horses!

Proud and civilised, and modern
Buy latest of fashion, up to date…

Such people have claim after claim:
"Poor backward, unaware…! "

Take my cell and dial
Comes Fredrick Douglas,
"Can you sit in front? "

We speak of before to his time
Then go on, see the racist Trump
Is US-President and Floyd is murdered!

I attack our time and injustice
Douglass says: "Cell is good, recorded! "

I am rock on mountain; he is a nightingale:
