এক অন্ধকার যুগে বাস করছি আমরা (Dark World)
এক অন্ধকার যুগে বাস করছি আমরা। কুকুর বিড়াল
মানুষকে নিঃশর্ত ভালোবাসে। মানুষের ভালোবাসার
প্রতি একনিষ্ঠ আনুগত্য দেখায়। কিন্তু মানুষ?
ভালোবাসা স্বার্থ জড়িত। আনুগত্য উড়ো মেঘ।
স্বার্থ ফুরোলেই বাঁশ দেওয়ার জন্য তৈরী।
মানুষ শ্রেষ্ঠ জীব- এই তত্ব মানুষের আত্মশ্লাঘা উদ্ভূত,
এতে সত্য নেই। মানুষের বড় চ্যালেঞ্জ মঙ্গলগ্রহ বিজয়
নয়। মানুষের বড় চ্যালেঞ্জ সত্যিকারের মানুষ হওয়া।

Any period of darkness provokes thought and this carries sadness. Humanity should be uplifted. Values empower human beings. This is an excellent poem.
