Darkness Poem by Aneek Chatterjee

Golden is the colour
of darkness; dazzles,
brightens every nook and corner
honoured and ornamented.

Radiation spectacular reaches
every lane, by-lane
hilltop, forest and ocean
helpless mind and conscious blind.

Golden is the colour
of silence; of peace,
happiness, satisfaction
solitude & alienation; - sparkles.

Darkness is the new colour
of society, illuminated.
But the charismatic calls it
progress, bright and golden.
