I Cried Near The Ocean Poem by Aneek Chatterjee

I Cried Near The Ocean

Rating: 5.0

I cried near the ocean
Waves only giggled

I shouted peace on the desert
Sands everywhere slept cold

I unfurled the white flag in the hills
Pines and Ferns stopped whispering

Chilly breeze in a winter evening told the Bay
The world is playing decay

sands, ocean, waves, white flags, chilly breeze- only decay........ you have portrayed despair so well my dear poet. but see everything positively.... even the seemingly negative ones.......... life is full of hope........ it is going to come and embrace you, joy, hope, finess, goodness and love and peace.......... thank u. tony
