I wait for the sun
to light up my heart
I wait for the darkness
to vanish so i'd become whole again
I keep hanging on
to the time i was your everything
and now I've ended with nothing
Which reflects what I feel inside
without you here, i'm empty
Allowing the pain to consume
Every part of my existence
A friend told me, cheer up
Everythings going be okay
this heartache shall pass
Spend as much time as you need
to reach a full recovery
I hold onto to each memory
I've ever had of you and me
Life passes me by
but I'm too numb to notice
All the changes happening
Replaying over in my head
like a broken record
the day you walked out on me
If only I took the time
to understand that we were
drifting apart
Could of prepared my heart
of the oncoming hurt
forever to bleed
I'll always miss you
Ain't no denying that
You've made your choice
there ain't no way you coming back
