Date At The Museum Poem by Anon Name Anon Name

Date At The Museum

Rating: 5.0

I was alive and she was alive
Amid the tombstones and sarcophagi
The fossils and stone faces
The ancient manuscripts and relics
Wars won and wars lost
Generation after generation

And it occurred to me;
There is no city
There is no work of art
There is no masterpiece or symphony
As breathtaking and effortlessly captivating
As a beautiful woman
