Daughter Poem by Terry Sakar

Daughter

Rating: 5.0

God gave you to me
To nurture and hold
And instill His teachings
Now I know what it means to be complete
You are truly an angel to behold!

With your glowing suntan skin
And bouncy locks of curls
Above all I see the most beautiful spirit within

You are smart beyond your years
You don’t know it yet
But you are an inspiration to your peers
You have something special
Others only dream to get
Is it beauty, popularity, or integrity?
They can’t put their finger on it yet
But you are definitely a rarity

No one told me it would be this easy
Raising a daughter
Except when I dress cheesy…
Love, Mom
