Daughter Poem by sam puskar

Two days ago we had a scare, our only daughter was in despair
She went to a hospital only to discover her heart beat was just bare.
So they put a stint by her heart and now she again is as well as before.
Everything again is well with us, because of this little girl we adore
It is funny how fast life changes, before our very eyes.
Than we think about the ones we love and hope we can amend our lives.
T spend some time with each otherr and laugh about our past.
To joke and tell stories we all shared stories that will last
Since love is loving one for what they are
We must never ask them to change cause than we go too far
As parent we think too much of our childrens future plans we try to advise them of their choices
That we forget like we once were just want some fun and in protest raise their voices
Soon, again like us they too will have children to raise up
Hope they remember when we gave advise to them than stop and shut up
