Daughters (Daughter's Week) Poem by Dr John Celes

Daughters (Daughter's Week)

Though daughters are like gentle lambs,
And keep the home, to children tend,
Ferocious they can be at times,
Protecting kids like lioness.

They have so many roles to play,
Meet challenges that come their way;
They spend more time in beauty tips,
And talk a lot, and move their lips!

God made the Eve for Adam's sake -
An ideal life companion;
Together both can reap success
In life on earth, and keep God's road.

A daughter is a loving soul
And loves to please those all around;
She slogs for husband, family's sake,
And keeps and eats the success cake.

A wonderful most creation,
A daughter when a mother turns
And sacrifices endlessly,
And brings the bliss, a family needs.

A weaker frame with loving charms,
A daughter can be son at times
With killer instinct if need be;
What lovely creatures, daughters are!
