Dawn's Lark Poem by james watkin

Dawn's Lark

Lark-winged, Day's welcoming gesture
Aslant the sun, vivid etched;
Like clear-cut silhouette.
Gift to the land's early riser.
Hope's sign, through its own bright, warm
Song-bursting. Expands yet.
