Day 9- Being A Lover (Tree Of Life) Poem by Chuy Amante

Day 9- Being A Lover (Tree Of Life)

Rating: 5.0

Two avocados in hand, should i smile?
hard as a rock still real green,
not today's lunch, but in awhile.
good or bad?

Flies, mosquitoes, sweat and poop.
All is well if we accept the group

IT is as simple as seeing its part too,
not good nor bad, we live in a zoo

your body will die, rot and decay,
feed the worms, then the flowers will play!
Flowers, trees, bees and fruit,
teens eat them, frolic, screw, and toot.

Up from the soil we come again
back in the womb of a woman,
no sin
From passion we come,
mitosis happens,
we are our mother-a different fashion

tree of life goes on and on
it's us, we're it,
let's get along!
