Days Are So Long Poem by Marilyn Jean

Days Are So Long

Nothing is blue or sad
Or mad
Yet days are too long
Orwrong
Why not just be nice?
Break the ice
Why not cut the distance?
Stop the resistance
Hours are terribly dull
Without any lull
There is simply nobody
From dawn to tea
Again going to sleep
The heart starts to weep
So it is around
All silence bound
No cheers
But tears
