Vivid Dream Poem by Marilyn Jean

Vivid Dream

A dream visited
Early this morning
This time it is you
Not me
You kissed my neck
As we sat together
I felt so in love
Next
For a moment
I felt you here
But it was not
So
A few tears
Lingering guilt
Followed
But
Vivid dreams
Are the worst
Things around
And
No cure can be found

I can relate, vivid dreams are cruel when you wake up...
