Dear Chiaka Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Dear Chiaka

Rating: 5.0

Like an ant's need of butter
I am
But a patch of slime to cross
There is
Tarry and round have I gone
Like a spindle
But all sealed affirm.

Please whisper to me
The secret alley
I know must be
To the butter taste so sweet
And I won't walk but run in earnest
Quicker than others eager
To deposit in your hold
The rein of my heart

' Like an ants need for butter I am'. The way you paint the words is so intriguing.
