Conscience Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Conscience

Rating: 4.7

The waters around me
are shallow with debris
Unappealing to my taste

The blue rivers inviting
are deep and far removed
Cause fear to take a fetch

How do I quench
the overdue thirst of mine
With peers drinking leisurely to my scorn.

Truth is far away from us and it's very difficult to find it out. A nice metaphor.
