Dear God, I'm trying
I'm just this little person here on earth
I keep making mistakes
I do my best but reality really hurts

Dear God, I need You
When nothing ever happens how I want
Help me remember
Your plan is perfect and You'll lead me to the right spot

Dear God, I'm crying
Why does everything have to be so hard?
I can't seem to let go
Of the way I have things laid out in my heart

Dear God, You're with me
You'll bring me where I really need to go
Help me remember
You're the only one who's fully in the know
