Effie Yalena Steyn

Dear Ivy Skies

Ivy Skies, my last goodbye
Will be to you my
love, my eternal friend.
Your love will never be lost on me
not even if the smile he
gives leads to something greater.
He is not greater than you.

Ivy Skies, my final cries
will be to you, from leaking eyes.
My eternal friend.
It's been a year but every day
that goes flashing by I pray
for another, and thank every star above
for you.

Ivy Skies, light of my life
It is with this stuttering heart that I try
to be everything you deserve,
my eternal friend.
And though lovers come and go,
this you must know.
There is no other.
I just want you to understand.
I just want you to understand.
I can't live without you.

    Rhyming effie?
    That's not like you.
I thought you couldn't live without me!
    I'm jealous now.
    A x
