Why did you get so complicated?
Bringing pain down on me
Can’t you see I’m struggling to live?
Why can’t you make things easy?

Wanting a drink to make things better
Trying to find an escape
I can’t do any of this anymore
One more funny look and Ima go ape

I don’t like who you’ve made me
Just want to lie down and sleep
Want to wash away all the bad
But this hunger is running too deep

This hunger that makes me want to hurt
Which always brings me down
I keep trying to remind myself it wasn’t me
But you made me feel like a clown

Why won’t you let me forgive?
Keep reminding me of why I hate
I always see the downside
Instead of what I should appreciate

So ‘Dear Life’ why do you suck so bad?
Everything I do is for you
Picking up a gun and raising it to my head
Is this what you were pushing me to do?
