Death Poem by Tea Kawana

Death

Death becomes such a natural thing
when you view another’s funeral:
one not of your own.
When she comes to someone close to you,
it’s the most heaviest thing to carry and accept.

God giveth and He taketh;
He taketh at a time well known for Him;
We are all unable to understand God’s Will
Unable to comprehend Why at this time?
Why now?
We feel like…
(it’s inexplicable)
We continue to ask Him why?
We just want to fall
A piece of our heart is torn
taken away with our beloved
We wonder how we’ll bare
with the sudden loss
And I don’t think anybody
ever really knows
yet it’s God who comforts us

Pray God He helps you
to cope
cry to Him and
He’ll comfort you in His arms
Pray God.
