Death By Self.
The desolation in isolation brings death to life
In the shadows gasping for air through a throat you slit with a knife
Death by self having been an attractive choice moments before
Now the gushing out of crimson fluid a horror show on the floor
As you pass from consciousness to unconsciousness to eternal sleep
Your life stories flash back in such splendour you start wishing to relive a repeat
You want to reverse your hara kiri, your seppuku, your death by self
But, the deed would done, what's remaining being for the coroner to put your body in a morgue shelf
Your lifeless cadaver tossed next to Sue who died
Your name attached to your lifeless toe labelled 'Suicide'
There are so many ways to die
so many reasons in the course of life
There are millions of reasons not to use your own hand
Death becomes all that for all in the end
It is still a macabre shame
Death by self
